Organisations Overview

On Tango Timetable each event is arranged by an organisation. This provides an easy way of grouping events so that you can see all the events created by a particular organisation.

Organisations can have the following pieces of information:

• Name
• Email
• Owner
• Description
• Links

Community Organisations

If an organisation is not present on Tango Timetable, then it is possible for active community members to register the organisation as a 'community organisation'. This means that there will not be a registered owner for the organisation but members of the community can add events to Tango Timetable that the organisation is running. They will be reviewed by moderators and will show up on the calendar if they are approved.

If the owner of the organisation would like to take control of the organisation on Tango Timetable, then we can easily transfer it to them and they will have control over the events which are displayed for that organisation.
