Musicality for dancers. A meeting with musicians to improve musical perception, connection, and musical understanding of movement.
In the first half hour, we will talk about listening to and analyzing the different rhythms of tango music and a journey through the different periods and orchestral styles, listening to some examples of classical recordings and others performed by the musicians live.
In the remaining hour, we will do movement exercises and dance and try to identify, recognize, and implement what was analyzed in the first part. The main idea is to better understand what we hear and thus achieve a deeper connection, both with the music and with our partner.
