Over ten weeks, every Saturday between 9th Oct and 11th Dec 2021 inclusive, from 4pm - 5:00pm, you will have the opportunity to learn classic Argentine tango figures, musicality and good technique in order for you to start dancing this beautiful elegant sophisticated dance. We will have a 45 min class followed by approx. 10 min practice.
After a long Covid induced layoff Tango Elegante is back, albeit in a cautious manner.
We are running a new 'Ten Week to Tango' course, our first in 18 months.
Over ten weeks, every Saturday between 2nd Oct and 4th Dec 2021 inclusive, from 4pm - 5:00pm, you will have the opportunity to learn classic Argentine tango figures, musicality and good technique in order for you to start dancing this beautiful elegant sophisticated dance. We will have a 45 min class followed by approx. 10 min practice.
This course is suitable for absolute beginners, and improvers wanting to restart their tango dancing. Anyone who dances ballroom, Salsa, Modern Jive etc. and who is wanting a new challenge is welcome to join in.
Please note this course is limited in numbers (max 4 couples) and requires some commitment to the whole period. Missing the odd week maybe OK but this is not a drop in class - there is a structure to the whole course.
Although Covid19 restrictions should have been lifted by this time, we are running a limited class, we will not be swapping partners, and you will need to demonstrate that you have received your Covid19 inoculation. Full Covid rules are on the event page, accessed through the booking link.
