The aims are:
To provide a space for tangueros of all abilities to practise in an informal environment
To help build confidence especially for anyone nervous about attending milongas
There are no lessons; we each have something of value to offer our fellow tangueros in a peer-tutoring situation
To provide budding DJs the opportunity to try out their playlists
Some may prefer simply to dance and share feedback with partners. However, it is not intended to be a practilonga.
Please click the “Going” button and do let me know you if you are bringing someone new to tango.
The session runs from 13:30 - 17:00 on the second Saturday of the month. I will be setting up 30 minutes before (and after). Any help would be appreciated.
Cost is £5 which includes tea, coffee and biscuits. This centre has modern kitchen facilities.
Directions:
The venue is Lancaster Way Community Centre, Buckshaw Village, Chorley PR7 7EL.
The location is just off the motorways M6 (J28) & M61 (J8) and Buckshaw Parkway rail station is a short walk away.
