We had a howl of protest from the tango community when we cancelled our November 3rd milonga and announced that September 15th would be our last. We have shuffled our dates and freed up October 27th for tango. This DEFINITELY will be our last dedicated tango event for 2018.

Informal & relaxed atmosphere. Large dance area, plenty of space for expression. Free tea & coffee, flavoured water, speciality cheeses, fruit, crudités & dips, savouries.
This event is designed for people who dance tango and more, or solely tango. Music mix will be predominantly modern/nuevo & alternative tango in tandas, but with a selection of traditional tango, vals and milonga from the golden age. Cortinas will be replaced by SHORT (2-2.5 minute) breaks for ballroom, latin american, modern jive, swing & blues. If people choose to dance the "intermission" tracks, the whole track gets played. If not, we move on to the next tanda. After the food is served, the music will be free-form (not in tandas) to enable people to switch partners regularly, thereby ensuring ladies (or men) are not sitting on the sidelines.
Music being played will be displayed on the large screen on stage.
