The sixth in the series of our most popular milonga format - tango music mix is 75-80% modern/alternative, 20-25% traditional/golden age; plus a sprinkling of other styles. Informal & relaxed atmosphere. Large dance area, plenty of space for expression. Free tea & coffee, flavoured water, speciality cheeses, fruit, crudités & dips, savouries.
This event is designed for people who dance tango and more, or solely tango. Music mix will be predominantly modern/nuevo & alternative tango in tandas, with cortinas replaced by SHORT (2-2.5 minute) breaks for ballroom, latin american, modern jive, swing & blues. If people choose to dance the "intermission" tracks, the whole track gets played. If not, we move on to the next tanda. The final hour will be 100% music for tango dancing without breaks, so you can dip in and out, change partners whenever you like.
